Doris Wicks was the sister of Franklin Wicks, the husband of Wilbur's sister Helen, making Eric, Douglas, Donald and Nancy "Double Cousins".

This 1937 picture taken alongside the First Presbyterian Church is of the Dunellen Golden Jubilee Committee. The members were composed of the mayor and council, businessmen, and civic leaders. Mayor Joseph Morecraft Jr. (first row, third from left) is wearing the light-colored suit. The gentleman on the first row, extreme right is Wilbur Bolen, principal of the high school. Bolen wrote the souvenir book for the 75th anniversary in 1962.
